This morning and moving forward

What an incredible morning! I am so proud of our students, families, and staff for showing up with patience and flexibility as we launched our brand-new weapon detection screening today. This cutting-edge technology is a tremendous addition to our school and represents our commitment to keeping every single student safe each and every day.

Did everything go perfectly? Not quite, but honestly, the cooperation and understanding from this community is what makes us such a wonderful place to be!  Our students were absolute rockstars walking through the process, and our staff worked tirelessly to make it as smooth as possible.

We are already learning and improving! Here's what tomorrow looks like:

• Middle school side will be open for drop-off
• K-5 drop-off will resume in the front

We will continue to refine our routines each day to make this process quicker and easier for everyone. This is exactly the kind of proactive safety measure our students deserve, and I could not be more excited about what it means for our school community.
